The Mobil 1 Protecting History Promotion Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) begins on May 1, 2018, and ends on August 15, 2018 (“Promotion Period”) and is limited to individual consumers (“Participant”) during the Promotion Period. Eligibility for the Grand Prize (as defined below) and the Shirt & Bib Prize (as defined below) is limited to owners of Porsche vehicles (“Porsche Owner”) purchasing an oil change with an eligible, in-stock Mobil 1 Product (as defined below) (“Qualifying Purchase”) at a participating Porsche dealership in the United States (“Participating Dealer”). Promotion is sponsored by ExxonMobil Oil Corporation, 22777 Springwoods Village Parkway, Spring, TX 77389 (the "Sponsor") and administered by Theory Communication & Design, Inc. (the “Administrator”).
“Eligible Mobil 1 Product” includes Mobil 1™ synthetic motor oil, Mobil 1™ High Mileage motor oil, Mobil 1™ Advanced Fuel Economy motor oil, Mobil 1™ Extended Performance motor oil, Mobil 1™ Annual Protection, Mobil 1™ ESP Formula motor oil, Mobil 1™ Turbo Diesel Truck motor oil, Mobil 1™ V-Twin motorcycle oil, and Mobil 1 Racing 4T™ motorcycle oil.
ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who have reached the age of majority in his or her state, or territory of residence and are at least 18 years of age or older as of May 1, 2018.
Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of the Sponsor, the other Promotion Entities (as defined below) and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, employees or officials of any government, or government-owned or government-controlled entity, that has regulatory authority over Exxon Mobil Corporation or any of its affiliates and any and all other companies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to participate or win a Prize.
The "Promotion Entities" shall mean organizations directly involved with this Promotion including, Sponsor, Administrator, participating U.S. Porsche dealerships and each of their respective subsidiaries or affiliated entities, and their officers, employees and agents.
The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation.

Sponsor will use e-mail addresses provided via the Mail-in entry method for prize notification purposes only; however, eligibility to participate in the Promotion is not dependent upon entrant's provision of this information. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 15, 2018 and received by Sponsor no later than August 22, 2018 to be eligible. Mail-in entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, misdirected or illegible entries.
LIMIT: Only one (1) entry into the Promotion per person, per mailing address, or email address during Promotion Period, regardless of entry method used. Multiple entries received during the Promotion Period from any person, household address or email address after the first entry received from that person, household address or email address will be void. Once submitted, an entry cannot be deleted, canceled, or modified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant that submits more than the one permitted entry, or who Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with, influence, or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of this Promotion.
DRAWING AND ODDS OF WINNING: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing which will take place at the conclusion of the Promotion Period from among all eligible entries received from Porsche Owners. Drawing will be conducted on or about August 22, 2018 by Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Decisions of judges are final.
“Grand Prize” includes Mobil 1 VIP Road to Rennsport Package. One (1) winner from among all Porsche Owners with an eligible entry will receive a prize consisting of a 3 day/2-night trip to Rennsport Reunion near Monterey, CA on or about September 27, 2018 – September 30, 2018, with Rennsport Reunion tickets including hospitality tent access for winner and one (1) adult guest (18 or older) (ARV: $5,000). Trip consists of: round trip air transportation for two (2) people to/from major U.S. commercial airport near winner’s legal residence/race location; two (2) nights standard hotel accommodations (one room (room and tax only); double occupancy); Rennsport Reunion tickets for winner and guest; and a $400 Visa® pre-paid debit card for winner to use towards expenses.
Trip Specifics: ARV of any trip package may vary depending on the point, date and time of departure. Prize must be accepted as a whole, or will be forfeited in its entirety. All travel arrangements must be made through a travel agent or entity selected by Sponsor. Winner will be responsible for all meals, ground transportation, excursions, gratuities, fuel, parking, beverages, telephone calls and any other incidental costs or expenses not specifically stated herein. All trip components are subject to availability. Travel must originate and end at the same major gateway airport. If winner resides within a 100-mile radius of trip destination, Sponsor reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. Winner and guest, if applicable, will be required to provide valid government issued photo ID as required by travel authorities at time of travel, and to obtain and maintain all insurance (including car, health, liability and any other insurance). Winner acknowledges and agrees that the Promotion Entities are not providers/carriers of transportation, or insurance providers. No changes will be made to travel details once any element(s) of the travel arrangements have been booked. Prize conditions may be added or modified by Sponsor or its designee. Promotion Entities are not responsible for any changes of any element of trip, nor are they liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight changes, cancellation or delays. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, debit/pre-paid cards, or certificates. Event is subject to the terms and conditions of organizer, including rain check/cancellation policies and procedures. Travel is subject to capacity controls, availability, and certain other restrictions, all of which are subject to change. Any unclaimed and/or unused element of the trip travel package, or any element thereof, will remain the property of Sponsor or its designee. The restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and the described above may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the Affidavit (as defined herein), and/or other required release and/or travel documents. Elements of the trip may require agreement to and execution of, separate releases for prize award/participation, in addition to the Release of Liability described herein. Failure to provide these documents, if required, will cause prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. “Autographed Poster Prize” includes Mobil 1 Protecting History Autographed Poster: Five (5) winners from among all Participants with an eligible entry will receive one (1) set of framed and autographed posters, which will be signed by one notable Porsche personality who will be announced after the close of the Promotion Period. Winners will be selected by a random-number generating algorithm and alerted via email.
“Shirt & Bib Prize” includes Porsche 911 - Mobil 1 Protecting History Shirt and Leather Fuel Bib: Nine-hundred and eleven (911) winners from among all Porsche Owners with an eligible entry, will receive one (1) Mobil 1 Protecting History Shirt and Leather Fuel Bib. Winners will be selected by a random-number generating algorithm and alerted via email throughout the course of the Promotion Period.
“Digital Wallpaper Poster Prize” includes Mobil 1 Protecting History Digital Download Wallpaper Poster: Downloadable digital posters are free to all Participants with an eligible entry. There is no guarantee of duration of availability.
Allow approximately eight (8) to twelve (12) weeks for shipment following receipt and verification of all required documentation. Replacement requests, for any reason, will not be considered after thirty (30) days of shipment. Offer valid only for individual consumers; requests from groups, businesses, clubs or organizations will not be honored. Offer cannot be combined with any coupon and/or discount card. TAXES: All winners with prize values of $600 or more must supply Sponsor and/or Administrator with their social security number. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued in the name of winner for the actual value of the Prize awarded if the actual value of prize is $600 or more. All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance or use of prize not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are solely the winner’s responsibility.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to a virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part, at any time, without notice, and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of, or after (if applicable) this cancellation, termination, modification or suspension date, or in any manner that is fair and equitable. TERMS & CONDITIONS: This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By entering the Promotion, where permitted by law, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Promotion Entities, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders, and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage, or injuries to any person (including death) or property of any kind sustained in connection with their participation in the Promotion or from their acceptance, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of the prize, or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering, or announcement of the prize. DISPUTES: In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be decided in favor of the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for administering the domain responsible for the e-mail address chosen.
By entering the Promotion, entrants agree that 1.) Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Promotion, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; 2.) Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Promotion but in no event attorneys' fees; and 3.) The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. The value of the prize set forth above represents Sponsor’s good faith determinations of the ARV thereof and such determinations are final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of any prize turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash.
